Schottland: Flasche Whiskey für 52.821 € versteigert
Eine Whisky-Flasche hat in Glasgow (Schottland) bei einer Versteigerung für umgerechnet 42.000 Pfund den Besitzer gewechselt. Dies ist der höchste Betrag, der je für eine Whisky-Flasche geboten wurde. Bei dem Scotch, der sich in einer handgeblasenen Flasche befindet, handelt es sich um Bowmore Single Malt, der im Jahr 1850 gebrannt worden ist. Der neue Besitzer steigerte am Telefon mit. Obwohl der Korken vor kurzem ins Innere der Flasche gefallen war, störte sich der Unbekannte nicht daran. Bereits 2005 hatte ein Unternehmen einem englischen Hotel eine Flasche Scotch von 1943 für 45.800 Euro abgekauft.
Leckerlecker, und in der Vitrine, in der das gute Stück Glas samt noch viel besserem Inhalt landen wird, stört der Korken wohl die wenigsten - ich tippe auf Amerikaner… :-/
